Ocean Hotels Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa is situated between two World Heritage listed areas - the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Little wonder that we provide a restaurant that blends in its surrounds so perfectly. Based on the design of an Indonesian long house, the Cape Restaurant and Bar enjoys views over the pool to the sands of Coconut Beach. It's a great venue for a relaxed breakfast, a lazy lunch by the pool or a sunset cocktail before a tantalising dinner. Drawing on the best of local produce, the Cape Restaurant provides modern Australian cuisine with subtle South East Asian influences.

 

Gourmet Delight

Start the day with our extensive buffet, featuring an array of fresh fruits, cereals, juices, pastries, as well as hot food and healthy options. For the busy explorer, a lunchtime salad and sandwich buffet is on offer, with a lunch and snack menu for those with a little more time to relax.  The evening menu changes nightly to showcase the freshest local produce. Though underpinned by subtle South East Asian flavours, all tastes are catered for. A snack menu is also available for those looking for something light. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

For more casual meals, guests staying at Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa are also welcome to dine at the Cassowary Cafe at our sister property, Ferntree Rainforest Lodge, a casual, fun and relaxed environment with spacious alfresco dining overlooking the stunning pool. With two individual dining huts nestled in the Rainforest, Cassowary Café provides the perfect tropical environment for casual and relaxed dining. Reciprocal room charge facilities are availavle..
